You get the exact flatware pieces you see in the pictures. So since acquiring them I put them through the dishwasher and you'll notice on one or two of the pieces a very faint sign of being washed or used or the accumulation of being in the tub with the other flatware over years and years. I'd still say, though it's almost impossible to find this pattern that's been used this little and maintains this much integrity of the original glossy shine. So these are may be upgrades to your set or if you have a set that you've kept great care of they're probably perfect replacements for it.
