On the outside, the corners are dovetailed into place. There are decorative brass hinges on the back. There are a few light scratches on the chest, but overall, looks really nice. The inside lining is a teal?
Shade of tarnish resistant cloth, overall very clean and in good condition for the age. Wooden details can be seen where the pieces rest. The TWIN STAR pattern features two atomic starbursts on a curved handle.
The finish is glossy and bright. This mid century modern design was introduced in 1959 by Community Brand manufactured in the USA by Oneida. I found this at an estate sale.
